The Legend of Classy Zelda
Many players saw the “unusual” drink when Nintendo introduced the Noble Pursuit Recipe BotW (Breath of the Wild) item. However, in the Noble Pursuit Recipe TotK (Tears of the Kingdom) we get new “interactions.” In the latest part of the franchise, Link gets a chance to buy the Noble Pursuit drink for himself.
Although you might think that the Noble Pursuit is more like an “adult” drink, we’re talking with Nintendo in mind. Since they (Nintendo) want to keep that “Everyone” rating, the protagonist will get a “fruit punch” in this adventure.
The differences between the Noble Pursuit Drink in the recent Zelda games are simple. The Noble Pursuit Recipe BotW one belongs to a Shrine Quest (unlocking). However, the Noble Pursuit Recipe TotK version takes part in a quest chain around Gerudo. Above all, the latest Noble Pursuit form is craftable, and you can use the drink to regain your health.
TotK Learning How to Get Noble Pursuit Recipe
Pass through these steps, which will unlock the “high-class” drink known as the Noble Pursuit Zelda Recipe. First, follow the main objectives and reach the “Riju of Gerudo Town” quest. In Tears of the Kingdom, you need to clear the Lighting Temple to restore the glory of Gerudo Town. Many ” citizens ” hide underground until you clear the temple.
After you investigate the entire area of the Lighting Temple and destroy the pest and their Queen Gibdo, travel back to Gerudo Town. Move into the Noble Canteen, where you can get two ways to get a Noble Pursuit drink without spending Rupees. First, get inside the Canteen and talk to the bartender. The NPC (Non-Playable Character) will give you a free “sample” for saving their entire town.
Additionally, if you completed the “Mattison’s Independence” side quest (in Tarrey Town), you can talk again to the bartender and get another drink as a gift from Mattison.
When you collect the free samples of the Noble Pursuit, you’ll have a chance to spend Rupees for more. This time around, you need 20 Rupees for another Noble Pursuit drink. Since you can learn the Noble Pursuit drink recipe later, you could use your resources to buy the ingredients instead.
TotK Knowing Where to Use Noble Pursuit
As you might already know, different events appear worldwide at specific times of the day. For example, during the evenings, if you visit the underground shelter of Gerudo Town, you’ll find the class called “Voe and You,” Travel around the area and talk to Ashai (the class teacher) to start your learning sessions.
After you enlist in the class, you’ll find three Gerudo students willing to share their opinions and misfortunes. Pritana, the second student, requires a Noble Pursuit. Therefore, help Nali (the first student), and after you complete their quest (by equipping a headgear that covers Link’s face like the Majora’s Mask or Cece’s Hat), you get to speak with Pritana.
In the middle of the conversation with Pritana, she requests a Noble Pursuit drink. If you have one of the two “free samples” of the Noble Pursuit, you can give one to them and help them out in the Voe and You Class. However, after you complete the tasks from the three students, you won’t get any reward. Hence, you can ignore this part (unless you’re a completionist) and keep the Noble Pursuit for yourself.
Zelda Noble Pursuit Recipe
The Noble Pursuit Recipe Ingredients appear around Gerudo territory. If you stick to the “samples” from the Gerudo Canteen, you’ll get four Hearts if you drink the Noble Pursuit. Indeed, if you want to increase the potential of the healing item, you should know how to make Noble Pursuit drink. To “cook” a Noble Pursuit, you’ll need the following items:
NP Ingredients | How to Get in Tears of the Kingdom |
Hydromelon | Bought in Gerudo Town. You’ll Find growing in the Gerudo Desert. You get a single Hydromelon if you gather the seven orbs and give them to Rotana (“The Mysterious Eighth” side quest). |
Voltfruit | Bought in Gerudo Town.Harvested from cacti in the Gerudo DesertRepairing the inn at Lurelin Village will grant you five Voltfruit. |
Palm Fruit | Bought in Gerudo Town.Harvested from palm trees in Lurelin Village, Kara Kara Bazaar, or Gerudo Town.Drop items from Hinox or randomly found in monster camps. |
Rock Salt | Bought in Gerudo Town.Regularly mined from regular Ore Deposits. |
Completing the Noble Pursuit Recipe requires a single ingredient from the list. However, you can add another item to improve the drink’s potential of the cocktail. For example, you can use two Voltfruits instead (besides the Hydromelon, Palm Fruit, and Rock Salt). The “improved” Noble Pursuit restores five Hearts instead.
Additionally, if you cook your meals when Blood Moon takes effect, you’ll get improved benefits from your meals. For example, you can mix a Noble Pursuit, which restores more Hearts in a single use. The downside is the effectiveness of the drink. Unlike the best meals in Tears of the Kingdom, you don’t get extra benefits from the Noble Pursuit.
Wrapping Up
Make the most of your ingredients and “cook” all the Noble Pursuit drinks for later use. Save the kingdom once again with prestigious cocktails in your inventory. Good Luck!
