For consoles, if you don’t find the summon skeletons skill in the Book of the Dead, just open your skill tab and slide left to show the skill bar, and you can now select from the available skills. Summon skeletons will be located at the button in the first place, just select or drag-drop them onto the screen.

You can also raise skeletons of corpses that haven’t been sacrificed. Just go to their dead bodies and select the “Raise Skeleton” skill from the Book of the Dead or skill tab. Placing all these skill groups in the skill tab can be useful for easy accessibility because, during the fight, you will want your skeletons to re-group quickly to attack your enemies.
How To Get More Skeletons?
In the Book of the Dead, you can find a feature that lets you use one extra skeleton warrior. The limit of summoning skeletons is 4 but with this feature, you can raise 5 skeletons at a time. Open the Skeletons Warriors skill group page and select “Raise one additional Skirmisher Warrior” from the “Skirmishers.”
In the Diablo 4 game, skirmishers resemble skeleton fighters armed with swords to slash foes, reducing their hit points by 30%, but they live through 15% less life or health. As for defenders, they are more fitted to have high hit points, whereas skirmishers are meant for attacking or combat. Each skirmisher consequently has their own set of abilities and combat skills they can use.
How Many Skeletons Can A Necromancer Summon?
The necromancer can summon up to 7 skeletons. They follow the necromancer, attack the enemies, and defend the necromancer. If any one of them dies during battle, it can be re-summoned after a few seconds. You can also raise skeletons from corpses that haven’t been sacrificed.
As a starter, you can easily summon 4 default skeletons from the skill tab and even get 1 extra from the Book of the Dead. But as you progress in-game, the limit of summoning skeletons reaches up to 7 skeletons at a time. The respawn time also reduces significantly as you unlock different skill groups and abilities.
Summoning skeletons is the main ability of a necromancer, you can also summon 10 skeleton mages. Mage attacks are 40-50% faster than default skeletons. They wield powerful magic to attack their enemies from a distance. On the other hand, default skeletons use hand-to-hand combats with a sword.
To unlock skeleton Mages ascend the Necromancer Class Mechanic bar till it hits level 5 – you will find them as well in the Book of the Dead, along with all skill groupings and sets. You can comfortably preset your preferred skill in the Ability tab. When you raise Mage corpses, they can summon Skeleton Mages, who hit like crazy. So here’s how to get more skeletons in Diablo 4.
How To Summon A Golem As A Necromancer?
After hitting level 25, you will need to unlock Golem. This may appear a bit tricky; however, after performing different assignments as well as missions in Diablo 4, you must definitely reach level 25. This will enable you to summon Golem at will since it is the basic condition for unlocking it later on. One more requirement is finishing off the quest meant to unlock the Golem.
A quest named “Necromancer: Call of the Underworld” will be given to you, and after completion, you will receive the skill in your skill group to summon Golem.
