Tabletop, Geek and Sundry’s YouTube board game show hosted by Wil Wheaton, announced their game lineup for Season 4. Wheaton announced on his blog that for this season, he wanted to play games that were accessible to families, play more RPGs, and play more indie games. He also wanted to break the rules a bit and play some games that would normally not be on Tabletop. Here’s the full lineup in no particular order:
- Fury of Dracula
- Code Names (with six players for maximum funtimes)
- FATE Core RPG
- Dragon Farkle
- Eldritch Horror
- Star Realms
- Star Trek – 5 Year Mission
- Champions of Midgard
- Steam Park
- Tiny Epic Galaxies
- Welcome To The Dungeon
- Misspent Youth RPG
The show has in general has been extremely well-received, though it has garnered some criticism in the past, specifically for not always getting the rules right. After their first day of filming, Wheaton announced they made some production changes, one major one being that instead of filming two games a day, they will only shoot one game per day. While he doesn’t specifically say that this change will probably help with the issue of getting the rules correct, he does say the change will help the whole process be more relaxed and feel less like a race against time.
