Capcom has laid down the final details on Street Fighter V is preparation of the game’s release on February 16.
In an official release Capcom said, “players will have the opportunity to play through individual character stories that provide important background information on each of the characters, their roles in the game, and their relationships with other fighters. The character stories have a recognizable throwback art style created by Bengus, a famous Japanese illustrator who has worked on a variety of past Street Fighter projects.”
Capcom also revealed the ability to download new characters using “fight money,” which can be earned in the game or real currency. The first DLC for the game will be available in March.
Finally as a thank you to all of the fans, Capcom is holding one last beta for the game on January 30 and 31. Details on the beta can be found on Capcom’s community site.
