Nintendo Attractions Coming to Universal Parks in Japan, Orlando and Hollywood

Nintendo released a small teaser trailer for their new attractions that will be coming to Universal Theme Parks in Japan, Orlando and Hollywood. The video doesn’t say much, besides the fact that they are excited to bring their Nintendo games to life. Though the set dressing behind them is pretty awesome looking.

Their press release says that people who check out the Nintendo-themed area will “enter an entire realm filled with iconic Nintendo excitement, gameplay, heroes, and villains.” The areas, according to Nintendo, will be expansive, immersive and interactive with multiple attractions, restaurants and shops.

The designers and creative team behind the areas are attempting to capture the adventure and whimsy of Nintendo games. Nintendo says that their goal is to make it so that anyone, regardless of age or gaming experience level, can come together and enjoy the themed area.

Each park will have its own area, and each park will be releasing information and announcements separately. While there has been no specific date for when the areas at the parks will open, Nintendo says that the different parks will open their attractions at different times over the next several years.

The new themed areas are coming after Nintendo and Universal Parks & Resorts became global partners.
