EA seems confident in its slate of 2016 releases, according to COO Peter Moore. Moore spoke at the Credit Suisse Technology, Media, and Telecom conference and called EA’s upcoming games an, “embarrassment of riches.”
We know that EA has a new entry in the Battlefield series on the way, as well as the long-awaited Mass Effect Andromeda. On November 7, Bioware released the first trailer for the game.
Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 is also coming out in spring. Of all these games, it’s the one we know the most about. It’s a sequel to Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare (duh) and will add new characters that were popular in the mobile game, like Citron and Rose.
Battlefield and Mass Effect are both established series with large fanbases. EA has already confirmed that the new Battlefield will be a military game, as opposed to Battlefield Hardline’s urban cops vs. crooks gameplay.
Moore also reaffirmed that a sequel to Titanfall is in the works for the next fiscal year.
