The developers of Mirror’s Edge Catalyst have teased an announcement for later this week. In a tweet on their official stream, they said “Faith is returning. Stay alert this week.” It was accompanied by a picture saying “Come on girl. Save us all.” There’s no word on exactly what we can expect, but it could be something like a new trailer or screenshots.

Mirror’s Edge Catalyst is a reboot of the 2008 first-person parkour game, and will have some of Faith’s origin story as well. The developers have advertised the game as an open world without levels or loading screens.
It was supposed to be released in February, but the developers pushed the release date back to May, because they said they wanted to make sure the story and the game play is as entertaining, impressive and memorable as possible. They say they are working to make Mirror’s Edge more immersive with a deeper and more engaging story.
The game is slated to be released on May 24, 2016 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and on Origin for PC.
