Nintendo Announces “In-Depth” Look at Switch Games

Nintendo will be airing a Treehouse Live segment specifically about Nintendo Switch games. The livestream will be following Nintendo’s Switch Press Conference, and it will begin at 9:30 a.m. EST.

Nintendo announced the Treehouse Live livestream via a tweet, which promised fans an “in-depth look at upcoming games featured in the Nintendo Switch Presentation.” Right now we don’t know if the Switch presentation will focus primarily on launch titles, or if they will also be covering titles planned for after the Switch’s release.

The Nintendo Switch live event, which will air on January 12th, is supposed to cover major topics including the console’s price, launch titles, and the exact release date. We do know that the Switch is expected to release in March, but right now we’re not sure of the exact day.

Following both of these livestreams, the Switch is going on a hands-on tour of six North American cities. Most of the days that the Switch is in each city are invite only, but there is a time for the general public to come check out the console.

Nintendo warns that space will be extremely limited on the day that’s open to the general public, so I recommend making plans now, and deciding whether it’s important enough to you to try to camp out for several days to ensure that you get your hands on the Switch.
