Check Out Team Husky, a New All-Female Competitive Overwatch Team

Team Husky, an American all-female competitive Overwatch team, was founded in late February of 2016. In an interview with EloTalk the team founder, Molly, described the process of finding the right women for the team was more than just analyzing their skill level in the game. When she evaluates a new member, she also looks at their attitude toward women in general.

“Team Husky is for girls who want to be involved with each other – it’s good to have the mindset of being a player and member of the community. All of the girls would be willing to sit down with you and help with anything – our group is used to build each other up.”

Molly has a lot of experience in and around eSports. She holds high ranks in multiple games like Counter Strike: Global Offensive, League of Legends, and StarCraft II, and has placed and won multiple tournaments. She has also worked in eSports, doing everything from programming games to working for game sponsor companies.

Team Husky’s roster includes Molly, Tifa, CuppCaake, Juliesss, INFAMOUSchez, and Lethena. They plan on attending events and have already started competing in weekly tournaments. For updates on when they’re streaming and competing, you can check out their Twitter and their Discord pages.
