Lynda Carter Will Sing for Fallout 4

Bethesda has announced that actress Lynda Carter, who is known for her role as Wonder Woman in the 1970s television series, is providing voice work and original music for Fallout 4. If it strikes you as out of the blue, rest assured Carter has done voices for other video games, including the Elder Scrolls series, and she’s lead singer for a Grammy Award-winning band.

Fallout 4 will have a soundtrack with three times the amount of music compared to Fallout 3. Most of it will be a  mix of old-time favorites (like Being Crosby and the Ink Spots) and more obscure music from back in the day, representative of the world before the nuclear apocalypse. Carter’s music will be songs from after the bombs. “When we started this game, I wondered if Lynda would do some original music,” says game director Todd Howard. “Because it’s not like music stopped.”

Along with adding her voice to the soundtrack, Carter will play Magnolia, a singer who owns a bar in the town of Goodneighbor.  “She knows who the players are,” Carter says. “She’s a great judge of character. She’s really, really smart. And she does what she does because she loves it. So this is a safe place for her too.”

Fallout 4 will be available November 10 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC
